ZEP is organising a local event as part of EU Industry Week 2021 with a focus on key CCS and CCU projects in the industrial transition towards net-zero. The pathway towards climate neutrality by 2050 will bring about a major transformation of energy-intensive industries, such as cement, lime, steel and chemicals, that are at the core of the European economy and provide products that are at the heart of how we live our lives. For these sectors, pathways including CCS represent the lowest-cost route to decarbonisation, whilst maintaining industrial activity and preserving existing jobs.
Speakers from Equinor, HeidelbergCement, Fortum Oslo Varme, Tata Steel and Bellona will join us to present and discuss projects on CCS applications and how they can contribute to make European industry climate-neutral by 2050.
